Shift: Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00, Friday: 07:00 – 13:00 (Early finish every week)
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Stores & Despatch Operative to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment in Loughborough.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials through the business, from receiving deliveries and managing stock through to preparing and dispatching finished goods to customers.

The successful candidate will be organised, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring goods are processed accurately and efficiently.

• Book stock in and out using internal systems and maintain accurate records.

• Carry out regular stock counts and inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.

• Inspect components against drawings and specifications before packing.

• Prepare and pack customer orders safely and securely for dispatch.

• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure materials are available when required.

• Support the day-to-day operation of the stores and despatch department.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

About You

• Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, logistics, or despatch environment.

• Confident using computers and stock control systems (IT skills are essential).

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
